Allison Albrecht joined a5 in 2009 as a PR Specialist and Account Manager. Allison's background in public relations and time spent as a newspaper reporter enables her to create content that properly conveys the client's message to a particular audience. She enjoys crafting stories, developing content, as well as securing media placement for her current clients, which include Heartland Spine & Specialty Hospital, Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, Elara Engineering and Visit Oak Park.
Before joining a5, the University of Illinois alum worked as a Communications Analyst for the Illinois House of Representatives. In her four years with the House, Allison split her time between Chicago and Springfield providing community outreach, communication essentials, and media relations for numerous state representatives, including the House Republican Leader.

Allison also spent five years after college working as a beat reporter for Liberty Suburban Chicago Newspapers. She was awarded the NAACP Medal of Freedom in 2003 for her fair and unbiased reporting of issues relating to diversity.
Allison holds a B.A. in Communications in print journalism.
